Northwest Regional Conference Recap


Members Wanda, Jaci, and Diane shared highlights from the 107th Northwestern Region Conference, held in Whitefish, Montana.


Wanda provided an overview of the conference, which welcomed nearly 200 attendees from across the region. She praised the hospitality of the staff at Grouse Mountain Lodge, shared stories about the conference's western theme, and noted the excitement and camaraderie among attendees throughout the event.


Jaci recapped Friday's sessions, including a presentation on Gracious Space led by Past Governors, which focused on embracing differences and fostering meaningful dialogue. She also highlighted discussions on transformational leadership, emphasizing how our thoughts, actions, vision, and example influence our ability to lead and inspire others.


Diane shared highlights from Saturday's sessions, including the inspiring Live Your Dream Awards Luncheon. Several award recipients attended with their children, and SIP's own SIDA recipient was recognized with a $3,000 award. Diane also discussed Soroptimist's connection to the United Nations as a non-governmental organization (NGO) and shared information about the annual Commission on the Status of Women meetings held each March in New York City.


The 107th Northwestern Region Conference was a memorable gathering filled with learning, inspiration, fellowship, and celebration of the important work Soroptimists are doing throughout the region.
