Soroptimist International of Portland proudly celebrated its 100th Anniversary in 2026, marking a century of service, impact, and commitment to women and girls.

​

Since its founding in 1926, Soroptimist Portland has empowered women and girls through education, opportunity, and community service. Over the past century, the organization remained strong through the Great Depression, wartime, civil rights movements, and countless social changes—always guided by its mission to improve lives and create brighter futures for women.

​

The centennial celebration brought together community leaders, partners, alumni, members, and friends to honor Soroptimist Portland’s remarkable legacy, celebrate the impact of the past 100 years, and look ahead to the future of its mission.
