Woman of Wonder, Inc, Carol Doane, Founder

Carol Doane is the founder of Woman of Wonder, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization headquartered in Vancouver, Washington that expands access to higher education for women through college scholarships and community empowerment initiatives.

With deep roots in Southwest Washington, Carol launched Woman of Wonder in 2018 to help bridge the financial barriers that often prevent women—especially single mothers, women raised by a single parent, or women without support—from pursuing college degrees. Under her leadership, the organization has awarded scholarships and expanded programs that champion education as a catalyst for economic mobility, family stability, and stronger communities.

Driven by a passion for gender equity and community impact, Carol guides Woman of Wonder’s mission to uplift and inspire through scholarship support, community events, resources for entrepreneurs, and outreach that celebrates women’s leadership potential. Her work reflects a long-standing commitment to transforming opportunity into tangible achievement for women across the region.
