Nora Blumenstein, Liz Starke: Celebrating Rose Haven's New Location and Expanded Services

Rose Haven is the only day shelter and community center serving women and children in the Portland Metro area. The shelter recently relocated to a brand new, trauma-informed space in NW Portland, which makes possible expanded services during this time of critical need.

Nora is a fellow Soroptimist who leads a team of advocates who provide emotional support, financial assistance, and connection to the community to women who have experienced poverty, homelessness, and other traumas.

Before moving to Portland, Nora was a staff member at Soroptimist International Headquarters in Philadelphia. In addition to highlighting Rose Haven’s new services, Nora will share her Soroptimist highlights , including creating the Dream It, Be It curriculum, chartering a club, and participating in SIA conferences and conventions.

Please join Nora and Liz for a conversation about our shared experiences in improving the lives of women and girls, in Portland and beyond. And find out how our Portland chapter can get involved.
