WECO’s (Women Empowerment Coalition) mission is to connect vetted grassroots initiatives to much-needed resources and volunteers, to invest in women who are invested in their communities. With projects in Cambodia, Peru, India, and Costa Rica, our vision is to live in a world where women and girls have equal opportunities to succeed. To work towards these goals, we:

Jenny has co-led international community initiatives and volunteer trips abroad since 2012. She has dedicated the past 10 years to growing her understanding of responsible international travel, gender equity, and grassroots community engagement. Originally from Austin, Texas, she is always interested to learn about new initiatives for equity and systems change, especially within philanthropic industries.
